50 Years Khadi & Village Industries Commission”

Die indische Regierung wird zum 50. Jahrestag der Khadi & Village Industries Commission ein Set von Gedenkmünzen herausgeben. Die Münzen in den Werten 5 und 50 Rupies werden in Proof und Unc geprägt.

Auf der Vorderseite ist das Portrait Gandhis, ein Spinnrad zu sehen und die Worte ’50 Years Khadi & Village Industries Commission’ und ‘Khadi Aur Gramodyog Ayog 50 Varsh’.

 

India Government Mint Mumbai will issue commemorative coins on Golden Jubilee of Khadi & Village Industries Commission. The coins are in denomination Rs 5 & Rs 50. Coins are available in proof and uncirculated variety.

One side of coin has picture of Mahatma Gandhi and spinning wheel. The words ’50 Years Khadi & Village Industries Commission’ and ‘Khadi Aur Gramodyog Ayog 50 Varsh’ are also engraved. Other side has our national emblem and denomination.

Khadi Development and Village Industries Commission (KVIC)

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament (No. 61 of 1956, as amended by act no. 12 of 1987 and Act No.10 of 2006. In April 1957, it took over the work of former All India Khadi and Village Industries Board.
